Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings in the sovereign name of our Savior, Jesus Christ—the Word made flesh, the Alpha and Omega, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. In the presence of the Triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—we approach this work with reverent humility, acknowledging that the Holy Scriptures, given by divine inspiration, stand alone as the infallible rule for what we believe and how we live. As the Apostle Paul wrote under the Spirit's guidance:
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3:16–17)
This is the unshakable foundation of everything we do: Sola Scriptura—the first of the five Solas of the Reformation. We confess that the Bible, and the Bible alone, is the final authority for doctrine, correction, and instruction. No human tradition, no decision of any council, no private revelation, and no passing trend of the age may take its place. We are weak, flawed people, prone to error because of our fallen nature, and we sincerely want to live carefully before the Lord—handling the word of truth accurately, like diligent workers who need not be ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15).
In that spirit of humble submission to God's full counsel, we warmly invite all believers to examine carefully anything we teach or publish. The church of the living God is not a loose collection of independent voices, but a body joined together in love, where each member builds up the whole under Christ's headship. As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another (Proverbs 27:17). Let that principle guide our conversations, so that truth wins out and error is put to death—to God's glory alone.
The Danger of Error and Our Duty to Stay Alert
We have no illusions about being infallible. The visible church's history—from the apostles' day through the Reformation to the present age—shows plainly how subtle the enemy is and how weak human reason can be. Doctrines have been corrupted, truths watered down, and the pure milk of the Word mixed with human philosophy. So if anything we teach—or publish from our study—turns out to be:
Not firmly grounded in the plain teaching of Scripture, understood in line with sound interpretation and the Reformed confessions;
Contrary to the sound doctrine once entrusted to the saints (Jude 1:3); or In any way leading people away from the narrow road that leads to life—then please, dear brothers and sisters, humbly and gently bring it into the open. Don't let fear of people, false politeness, or the pressure of the times hold you back. Contact us with Scripture in hand, and together we'll search God's Word like the noble Bereans did (Acts 17:11).
"Test everything; hold fast what is good." (1 Thessalonians 5:21)
This isn't a suggestion—it's a binding command for every believer. A wise person welcomes correction, because it leads to becoming more like Christ. As Solomon said:
"Reprove not a scoffer, lest he hate you; rebuke a wise man, and he will love you." (Proverbs 9:8)
We want to be counted among those who respond wisely—with a healthy fear of God—wanting above all that the name of our Triune God be honored and that no disgrace come to the gospel of sovereign grace.
How to Correct Us: With Love and Truth
Any correction should follow the spirit of Galatians 6:1: "Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness—keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted." It should be free of bitterness and personal attacks, and fully submitted to the authority of Scripture. We commit to receiving it humbly—not treating you as opponents in a debate, but as fellow travelers on the same narrow road.
Our commitment stands firm on the doctrines of grace:
Total Depravity — acknowledging that nothing good dwells in our sinful nature, and even our best deeds need the Spirit's sanctifying work.
Unconditional Election — resting only on God's sovereign choice, who chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world.
Limited Atonement — proclaiming that Christ, the Good Shepherd, laid down His life effectively for His sheep.
Irresistible Grace — confessing that the Holy Spirit brings spiritually dead sinners to life and effectually calls them to faith.
Perseverance of the Saints — rejoicing that He who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Everything will be measured against this system of truth—not invented by humans, but drawn from the unified testimony of all of Scripture, as summarized in the great Reformed confessions such as the Westminster Standards.

That warning hits hard in an age crowded with so many voices. We want to serve, not dominate; to be faithful, not praised. May everything be done decently and in order (1 Corinthians 14:40), according to the pattern Scripture gives—to the glory of God the Father, through the mediation of the Son, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Closing Charge: The Fear of the Lord Is Where Wisdom Begins
Finally, we leave you with the foundational principle behind all true knowledge and godliness:
"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." (Proverbs 9:10)
